Comets Football Family Teams up for MLK Day of Service!![]() About 25 players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents worked together on a service project for Manor Church's Homes for Hope. Martin Luther King Day's call to action inspired the day's event. In the morning, participants showed up at one of the properties sponsored by Manor Church's Homes for Hope to cut down trees and bushes, and to pick up shrubs. By lunch time, the crew arrived at Manor Church to sort through donated clothing. Jenni Joyce and a crew from CBS-21 covered part of the day. You can read their coverage here.
