Penn Manor Football & Millersville Univ. offer 3-Credit Internship opportunity to MU students
The Penn Manor High School football coaching staff is looking for two (2), will accept up to three (3) interns to serve as photographers/videographers for the 2014 football season, which occurs between August 11 - December 7, 2014. The Penn Manor football program expects interns to be present at each football game, 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on every Friday of the fall between the dates stated above. Also, interns should be at each JV football game (seven games) on Mondays, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., September and October. Interns will attend several practices (Tuesday-Thursday) during the fall at times arranged with the internship's supervisor. The football program also expects intern photographs to be posted on the Penn Manor Football Program's Facebook page, and made available for the community to download. In December, interns are expected to use still photographs and videos to produce a 25-45 minute highlight film that recaps the season. Interns will also complete a portfolio.

While many are filled with thoughts of all things green as St. Patrick's Day approaches, the Penn Manor High School football team will be able to hold onto that spirit for a few more months.
The Comets will play local rivals Cedar Cliff High School when the two teams travel to the Emerald Isle in August as part of the Global Ireland Football Tournament.
"We're pumped for the game," said Penn Manor strong safety Seve Johnson, "but we want to see Ireland, too . . ."

We're asking EVERY traveling student to sell at least 20 tickets as part of a group effort to help the Comets get to Ireland! We will be selling $5 raffle tickets for a chance to WIN a Playstation 4! Our profit goal is $7,000.

Ethan Barley commits to Bloomsburg
Penn Manor's 6'3 260-pound TE/DT Ethan Barley has accepted a scholarship to attend Bloomsburg University next fall. Barley started all four years for the Comets, including experience as the center, guard, tight end, split side defensive end, tight side defensive end, defensive tackle, and nose tackle. Barley was a 1st Team All Section-1 Tight End, Defensive Lineman, and was selected as the L-L Section-1 Co-Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Logan Kinser selects Millersville
Two-way starter Logan Kinser informed Millersville's head football coach Greg Breitbach on Sunday, January 26, that he will join the Marauders this fall.
Kinser started for three years as Penn Manor's fullback and two years as one of the defense's inside linebacker positions. He is Penn Manor's first player to attend Millersville since the program's all-time leading rusher Geoff Hess in 2007. Logan received a partial scholarship to play football at Millersville while pursuing a degree in education.

Coach Stuart, Hall of Famer
On Friday, January 24, Streeter Stuart, Penn Manor's 9th grade head football coach, was inducted into the Southern Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame. Stuart played football and baseball at Southern Lehigh High School. He attended the University of Virginia on an athletic scholarship to play baseball.
Keller is the country's #1 long snapper
After attending Kohl's invitational camps in Wisconsin and Florida, Matt Keller is now ranked the nation's top long snapper for the class of 2015. Keller is also a finalist for the Kohl's All American team, which will be released later this month.
