EFT">>The Penn Manor Comet Football Team participates in the Iron Comet Lift-A-Thon to support the Four Diamonds. Sponsors are gathered annually to support this event. Donations are gathered to support the team in 3 lifts, Squat, Bench Press, and the Dead Lift. The combination of all three lifts is totaled for the total amount lifts completed.

The current record is 220 repetitions by Jacob Hollinger, calss of 2019.

The Four Diamonds mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research. Since its creation in 1972, Four Diamonds has helped more than 3,600 children and families and supported a diverse platform of childhood cancer research at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital, seeking improved treatments and cures to benefit those around the world. Because of the community's steady and generous support, Four Diamonds has been able to assist 100% of the childhood cancer patients who have been treated at Penn State Hershey.

2017 Results: At the conclusion of the Lift A Thon, the 20 athletes completed a total of 2,825 reps. The top six participates included Jacob Hollinger, Ayden Hinkle, Stephen Albright, Cole Heckaman, and Taraje Whitfield, and Michael Brown.2016 Results: At the conclusion of the Lift A Thon, the 30 athletes completed a total of 3,262 reps, 427,055 pounds (214 tons), and raised a total of $3,260. The top five participants included Mark Yoder, Cavan Zechman, Kyle Groff, Michael Morris, and Josiah Edwards.
