Live Stream: Penn Manor vs. Cedar Cliff in Dublin, Ireland 8/29/14, 2:00 p.m. EST

The GIFT 2014 spectacular will be streamed live from the UCD Bowl at University College Dublin on Friday, August 29, from 1.45pm US EST / 6.45pm local Irish Daylight Savings Time. The game kicks off at 2pm EST / 7pm DST and can be viewed for a subscription of $10/€7.50. Viewers can sign up in advance of the game kickoff.

2. Playstation-4 Raffle

We're asking EVERY traveling student to sell at least 20 tickets as part of a group effort to help the Comets get to Ireland! We will be selling $5 raffle tickets for a chance to WIN a Playstation 4! Our profit goal is $7,000.

Packets for this Fundraiser will be passed out to students Thursday, March 6 by Tammi Keller.

This is an individual fundraiser set for Fri. May 9th. Players will earn set amount of $ per 25 tickets sold.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does GIFT's travel agency customize trips for parents that would include staying at the same hotel?
(We do not offer custom travel packages outside of what we are currently offering for family and friends of the school. What we can do is assist parents that would like to extend their stay. This may involve traveling to other parts of Ireland or other countries but it would be an addition to what we are offering in our travel package. We do not offer individual items of the travel packages for sale separately. The reason for this is when we contract with our vendors and partners overseas we are able to get a reduced rate when we package everything together.)

2. If GIFT gets a block of rooms, how does a parent who makes their own arrangements get connected to be able to stay in one of those rooms?
(We are currently holding a block of rooms at the team hotel. In order to book a travel package parents will need to fill out a registration form and either fax or mail it back to us. We will need one form filled out per traveler.)

3. What if a parent wants to get a private room as a single person, does that raise the cost for the parent?
(There is a single supplement of $200 in addition to the travel package price if a parent would like to stay in the room alone.)

4. I have concerns distinguishing what is tax deductible.

a. Parents making payments for their own son/daughter: this is not tax deductible. If you need evidence of payment for any reason, your cancelled check(s) should be sufficient to serve as proof of donation.
b. Donors that send funds for a player that is not in their household may take the deduction, they would also use the cancelled check as a receipt. **Regarding online donations, you should receive a credit card settlement report or email receipt. If for some reason you don't automatically receive that, you may request one from Coach Mealy.
c. Corporate Sponsors may request the MPGC treasurer to fill out their company's tax form to confirm donation. We will also send a corporate sponsor a thank you letter. This can be used as record of the donation.
d. Alumni donors - Our thank you letter for the donation may serve as proof of donation.
